Shobosho amalgamates Korean and Japanese barbecue with Aussie attitude where they blend smoke, steam, and fire; ancient traditions of Japanese yakitori, with the finesse, skill & texture of all that is raw, cured, pickled and fermented. With Shobosho's quick rise to culinary fame, this year has already seen head chef and owner Adam Liston take Shobosho overseas for a number of sold out events.
Maybe Mae, an icon of the Adelaide and Australian scene, and their long list of awards bolster the South Australian representation. Their home is all understatement and restraint where they flex on cocktails and an impeccably curated beverage offer. Their home states produce is championed above all else at this underground bar, with an ever-changing cocktail list shaken by a well-versed team.
For one night only, Shobosho and Maybe Mae join Fancy Free at their 381 Little Collins site in Melbourne showcasing their trademark offerings which have put them on the map. Shobosho will be offering a $75 five course tasting menu of their most beloved dishes backed up by a collaborative drinks menu by the Maybe Mae and Fancy Free team.
